Unknown Spanish Sling

I bought this sling at the Fall '01 Tulsa gunshow.  I'm not sure what it goes on.  The sling is nicely marked  "Artilleria Parque de Zaragoza".  What does that mean?

UPDATE:

Collector Eliver Casteniels offered the following info:

"Artillery, Zaragoza Arsenal (Spain)"

"Parque generally means "park" as in Central Park, but
it also refers to a military depot, arsenal, storage,
etc (where all the goodies are "parked")."

UPDATE #2:

Dutchman suggested:

"This might be a shoulder strap for a Sam Browne type rig (cross chest strap to hold up waist belt)"

If you have any comments about the sling, please email me at:

Sling Buckle Front View.  The buckle looks like brass, but I think it is steel with a brass or copper-like plating.
