French M36/51 Sling

Sling Length - 41 inches

Sling Width - 1-5/16 inches

This sling came with the 1958 dated French M36/51 in the picture.  There is a little packet that also came with the gun, dated 1976.  I don't read French, but I assume it is a rearsenal tag or something similar.  This rifle was purchased in 2000 from Century International Arms.  The sling is leather and is light brown in  color. Whether the sling is from 1958 or 1976 is unknown, but I believe it to be the proper one for the rifle.
