Egyptian Rasheed Sling
UPDATE:
Information added 3/1/02 courtesy of Whitie Blanshan
The sling you have on the Rasheed is not correct. It's another move on
Sarco's part to pass-off some of their excess junk. The one pictured looks
like a Russian with the poorly stamped rivies and frayed web edges, but the D
ring bracket and hook look like E. German. When I get a chance to send a
picture I will. The Rasheed sling is 46 inches long and 1 & 1/4 inch
wide, made of green cotton webbing with a hook on one end that hooks into one
of three eyelets spaced aproximately 3 inches apart in the center of the
sling. The sling for the Hakim looks just like it except that it's 48
inches long and 1 & 1/2 inches wide.

The Rasheed sling pictured came from Sarco and was billed as
being the correct version for the rifle. The Rasheed itself is a
relatively rare firearm, with only about 9000 units ever produced.
