This sling swivel has a unit staming of "3. 160" (3rd Company, Infantry rgt 160).  It is leather stamped "HERMANN THIEME MAGDEBURG 1917" just as the one in the above section is.

Above sling is marked "G. Hentschel      Dresden" and "1915".

Above sling is marked "SATTLER - Gen.", dated "1915" and at bottom of oval "Aachen".  By the way, Aachen is a large city near the Dutch-German- Belgian border.  "Sattler" is the German word for someone who works with leather as a profession (saddles, harnesses, assoc. equipment).  A company that produces these items is a "Sattlerei" or Saddlery, hence the "Sattler" stamping on the slings.

Garde sling - Marked "BAG" and "1914"

A rather unusual manufactuer "Aurwarter & Budeo - 1916 - Stuttgart" Unit stamped "GR 119 (Grenadier Rgt 119) and "1916".
