This is a WW2 M1 Garand sling pad. One side reads "U.S." and the other side reads "KROEHLER MFG. CO 1945".

This is a sling for the M1 Garand or M14, still sealed in the original storage bag. Bag is marked: 1005-654-4058 SLING, GUN, M1, 1 Each, DAAFO1-69-C-0639 A 9/70.
